玉川大学国際経営コース卒業後、渡英。セントラルセントマーチンス芸術大学より帰国後、東京にてファッションデザイナー／アートディレクター／インフルエンサーとしておおよそ１０年間幅広く活躍。2017年より、より純粋な表現を求めアーティストとしての活動をスタート。現在は自然あふれる宮古島を拠点に、世界中を旅しながら作品を制作し続ける。自身が「クリスタルエネルギーアート」と呼ぶすべての作品にはパウダー状に砕いたクリスタル天然石がふんだんに練り込まれている。

NR is a Japanese artist, originally from Tokyo. After graduating from Tamagawa University's International Management course, she took her way to London to study at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Upon her return to Tokyo, she started her career as a fashion designer / art director / influencer which she continued for 10 years. In 2017, she stepped into a new artist path to seek a purer form of creative expression. Currently based on the island of Miyakojima, where nature is wild and rich, she continues to create new works while also traveling around the world. All of her works, which she describes as "Crystal Energy Art," are made of natural Earth-based materials such as powdered crystals.

昔シャーマンの方が「アートは次元の扉だ」と言いました。

音楽、ダンス、書物、絵、料理、映画など
表現は様々ですが、そのすべてがアートであり
アートは人を本来の純粋な意識へと還らせることのできる
唯一の道なのではないかと思っています。

どんなに説明を受けて納得しても
人は自らの感覚で感じない限り、理解しないからです。

大いなる意識とは、あなたが楽しく、純粋な、
喜びの中に在るときに繋がるもの。

説明などしはじめた瞬間から人は小難しくなり
四角い枠の中に心を閉ざしてしまう。

だから私は、作品に名前もつけないし、
コンセプトも説明しません。

私はただ、無になって
すでにそこに無限に存在する美しさや喜びを
私の体を通して
自然や宇宙のスピリットたちとコラボレーションをしながら
キャンバスの上で遊んでいるだけ。

私にとってアートを描くことは
宇宙や地球とダンスしているようなものです。

私が願うのは、私の作品が誰かの家に
そっと邪魔することなく心地よく飾られて
その人が知らないうちに
本来の自分の純粋な姿を思い出せるような
次元の扉になればいいなということだけです。

すべての人が本来の遊び心あふれる
ピュアな自分を生き始めれば
世界に愛の調和は訪れます。

この地球上のすべての命が
ありのままに輝き
美しい愛の調和の中で生きられますように。

A shaman once said,
"Art is a doorway to another dimension."

Creating artwork for me,
is like dancing with Earth and the Universe.

I never feel like "I AM PAINTING". Rather, it's always more like "WE ARE PLAYING" through a blank canvas.

Music, dance, writing, painting, cooking, filmmaking, and many other forms of expression are all art, and I believe that art is the only way, for human being, to return to their original pure god’s consciousness.

When we are in a state of pure joy - playful, light, and free as a child - we are in touch with god’s divinity, our greater consciousness. And the moment we try to explain everything, we close off our minds and get imprisoned in a rigid frame.

When I paint, first I empty my mind and let myself be free. Then I simply let my body be the medium of infinite beauty and joy which already exists in the universe. I then let it all splash out through my hands, collaborating with the spirits within nature and the universe.

I never put any "meaning" into my artwork, because I believe art is a free field for all people to experience. My only wish for my artwork is to decorate someone’s environment - simply, beautifully, unobtrusively - and be a doorway to reconnect with their true pure self.

If all people live as their playful and pure selves,
the whole world will start singing love in perfect harmony.

May all lives on this planet shine as they truly are,
and live with love, in beautiful harmony.
